Grammy Fashions Skirt Dress Code And Reveal Healthy Skin

While we always support showing off healthy skin, we understand the need for modesty from time to time. Still, it came as a bit of a surprise that CBS wanted to reel in the often risque Grammy fashions that make the Grammy Awards red carpet a must-watch every year. Jennifer Lopez's revealing Versace number from 2000 is still one of the most-buzzed about award show fashions to date. It would be hard to top that without showing a little skin.

Katy Perry and Kelly Rowland show off their healthy skin routines in revealing Grammy fashions.

And Sunday's stars did not disappoint. Two of our favorite fashions along the red carpet were not only gorgeous but managed to skirt the dress code a bit. Katy Perry was more demure than usual but still turned heads in a mint-colored, floor-length Gucci gown that showed off her beautiful skin with a low-cut, keyhole neckline. Katy told Glamour last year that her skincare habits include sea scrub, cocoa butter and a vow to never tan. The healthy results were on display at the Grammys. Meanwhile Kelly Rowland may have completely disregarded the dress code as she highlighted her curves in a Georges Chakra Couture black dress punctuated by well-placed sheer cut-outs. Kelly's glowing skin is likely thanks to her daily moisturizing routine and her dedication to exfoliating regularly. Whether this is the start of a new trend for the Grammys is yet to be seen but we applaud the stars who managed to follow the rules with sexy but understated fashions.
